About

The mission of the Norfolk Police Foundation is to support the efforts of the Norfolk Police Department to keep Norfolk a safe place to live, work and play. We provide resources to the Chief of Police and the Norfolk Police Department to support their community outreach, leadership, training, officer morale and educational programs and activities. We strive to build relationships and strengthen partnerships between the Norfolk Police Department and the City’s residents, businesses and civic organizations for the betterment of the community.

The Board of Directors are volunteers who bring individuals, businesses, volunteer groups, and local government together to work on a common goal of bringing together the citizens in the community and the police officers who serve them to strengthen relationships and make them last. We are always open to new ideas and for those who are interesting in serving in some capacity on the Foundation as a volunteer to a member of the board please contact us anytime.
